Terms of service
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These terms apply to the use of quote.pear3d.ch and to every order placed with Pear3D, Geneva, Switzerland ("Pear3D", "we").
1. Your account
You need an account to see prices and send requests. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account. We may switch off accounts that are misused.
2. Prices and quotes
- Instant prices are calculated automatically from your model and settings. They are an estimate, not a binding offer.
- An order is binding only once we have confirmed the quote and you have accepted it. We may correct a quote if the model can't be printed as calculated, and will tell you before we start.
- Prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). Shipping is shown separately.
3. Your files
- You confirm that you may use the files you upload, and that the parts don't infringe anyone's rights (such as patents, designs or copyright).
- Your files stay yours. We use them only to quote and produce your order and treat them confidentially (see the privacy policy).
- We don't print weapons or parts of weapons, or anything illegal or clearly dangerous, and may decline any order without giving a reason.
4. Payment
How to pay is stated in our confirmed quote. Unless the quote says otherwise, we start production once payment has been received.
5. Delivery and pickup
We ship to the address in your account or you collect the parts from us, as chosen with the order. Delivery times are estimates. Parts travel at our risk until they are handed to you or the carrier delivers them.
6. Quality and tolerances
3D-printed parts show layer lines and small variations in size, colour and surface; these are normal for the process and not a defect. Unless agreed in writing, we don't guarantee that a part is suitable for a particular use, such as carrying loads or contact with food. Please test parts before relying on them.
7. Faulty parts
Check your parts on arrival and tell us about any defect within 10 days, with photos. If a part is faulty because of our work, we reprint it or refund its price, at our choice.
8. Liability
We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, our liability is limited to the price of the order concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, such as lost profit or production downtime.
9. Law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Geneva, Switzerland; consumers may also sue at their place of residence.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. Orders follow the version that applied when they were placed.
